Helping organisations
grow without compromise
Turning values into how work actually happens
Jet Swain
Founder of the Affection Economy
I work with leaders, teams, and organisations who know something is broken in how we work and are ready to redesign it with care, courage, and clarity.
Culture is talked about constantly,
and lived very little.
Most organisations don’t have a values problem.
They have a translation problem.
Values are written.
Posters are printed.
Strategies are launched.
And yet trust erodes, burnout rises, leaders are exhausted, and people stop believing the words.
Not because people don’t care — but because values were never designed to operate.
The Affection Economy is not a mindset.
It’s a way of working.
Some people still mistake affection for softness. I don’t.
I founded The Affection Economy to answer a simple but urgent question:
What would work look like if we designed it around people —and still delivered results?
Affection, in this context, is not softness.
It is attention, care, accountability, and responsibility in action.
My work helps organisations turn values into daily behaviour, lead with humanity and rigour, build trust without losing performance, and make better decisions — faster, together.
This work is grounded, practical, and designed to be lived.
In practice, this work changes how decisions are made, how power is exercised, and how accountability is held, especially when the pressure is on.
I bring over three decades of experience across leadership, design, strategy, and culture, working with executives, teams, and institutions navigating change, complexity, and growth.
I’m a keynote speaker, facilitator, advisor, and the author of The Affection Advantage, with my broader work on The Affection Economy publishing this year.
This work sits at the intersection of leadership, culture, systems, and human behaviour — and is designed to move organisations from intention to action.
How organisations work with Jet
I don’t sell time by the hour.
I work through clearly designed engagements that change how people make decisions, lead others, and work together — translating values into action.

Books, Programs & IP
The Affection Economy also lives through writing, programs, and tools designed to support deeper integration.
This includes The Affection Advantage, the Five Acts, and upcoming books and learning programs.
This work is for
people who believe
Growth shouldn’t cost our humanity.
Values should be lived, not laminated.
Leadership is a responsibility — not a performance.
Work can be rigorous and kind.
If that sounds like you, we should talk.
